Ade-slation #1 - 28 February 2026

As I shared in my first blog post in the News section, I’m a new Christian  - born again in March 2025. Having never read the Bible before, I suddenly found myself immersed in a world I had no experience of. I began reading Scripture daily, but often found myself needing to understand it more deeply. So I turned to the internet to help me grasp what the verses were really saying.

I soon realised I wasn’t alone. Many people - especially new believers -struggle to understand certain passages. That’s when I started something new: each day on my WhatsApp status, I posted the verse of the day from my Bible app, followed by my own plain‑language version. That’s how the name Ade‑slation was born (my name is Adrian, but I prefer Ade).

Friends began telling me that these everyday‑language versions helped them understand Scripture more clearly. One friend even encouraged me to save them somewhere. Today, I’ve decided to start posting them here.

So here goes:

Ade-slation #1 - 28 February 2026

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.”
Matthew 6:14

Ade‑slation ⏬
Jesus is saying that forgiveness isn’t optional - it’s the posture that keeps your heart open to receive the forgiveness God freely gives.
